Corsicana ISD has launched a new ticketing platform for the 2025 varsity football season. Fans can now purchase game tickets and reserved parking passes directly through the district website.

Thirty-seven hours. The time ticked on Will and John Higgs, two brothers who had just been among the guests of honor at a downtown pep rally. Thirty-seven more hours to play the first state tournament match of their lives. Yet there they were, on South Beaton Street, slinging chairs that guests had just vacated.

Reservations for San Antonio, please! Will and John Higgs are headed to the UIL State Tennis Tournament after finishing second at the Region II-5A Tennis Tournament today in Melissa. The brothers Higgs fell in the championship match, 6-0, 6-1.
The brothers won an epic semifinal match in which every set needed a tie-breaker, 7-6, 6-7, 7-6. The state tournament is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, May 15-16, at San Antonio’s Northside Tennis Center.
